With a grant from the Blue Shield of California Foundation’s “Strong Field Project” and feedback from the community, we have created a multi-media public awareness and outreach campaign focusing on domestic violence in San Joaquin County. We hope to increase community knowledge and involvement in ending domestic violence, and to encourage more domestic violence victims in the community to seek services through the Women's Center. With multiple billboards, movie theatre ads, placards in buses, and print ads in a variety of publications, we are reaching out to the community to build a stronger awareness and safety net for domestic violence victims.
