Welcome to the Women's Center

The Women's Center of San Joaquin County provides free, confidential shelter, counseling, and a wide range of supportive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. We serve women, children and men who have survived rape, molest, incest, and domestic abuse. With offices in Stockton, Lodi and Tracy, the Women's Center's services are accessible to survivors throughout San Joaquin County. The Women's Center also operates two undisclosed emergency shelters for battered women and their children, and conducts education and outreach in the community. Our goals are to enable survivors to regain control of their lives, increase awareness, and prevent future violence.

With the support of the community, the Women's Center has been improving and saving the lives throusands of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors for more than three decades. Donors, volunteers and spokespeople who generously give their money, time and support have helped the Women's Center grow from a small grassroots organization in the basement of a local church into a countywide agency that serves more than 28,000 individuals each year.  We continue to work toward ending domestic violence and sexual assault in our homes and in our communities.
